School trip in Madrid

Today I’ll write something about the school trip we did last month. It was the first time I went out from Italy, and it was a great experience for me. I shared this experience with my classmates, and they made this trip special! Our destination was Madrid, the capital of Spain, a very beautiful city. We arrived in Madrid by plane from Alghero airport, and when we arrived was night.. We visited “The Golden Triangle of Art”, composed by the three big museums of Madrid: the museum “Reina Sofia”, where we saw the collections of Salvador Dalì and Picasso, also his masterpiece “Guernica”; The “Thyssen-Bornemisza”, full of impressionists ad expressionists paintings, and the biggest museum of Madrid, the “Museo del Prado”, in which we could admire the collections of artist like Bosch, Mantegna, Goya and Dürer. We visited also a small beautiful church called “Ermita de San Antonio de la Florida”, Goya’s burial-place. We went also in the royal palace, a very big and sumptuous place, that is the official residence of Spanish royal family. But the thing of Madrid I liked most of all was the Madrid Night Life!! This capital never sleeps, indeed I think it lives especially during the night. This city has got many squares, that in the evening are full of people and vitality… I had much fun, because I could visit this places with my classmates, and with a good company all is different, so I’m very happy for this trip, and I would do it gladly.

It started off from a little trick I had on guitar. I played it to Mal and he said 'Oh, I've got a good rhythm idea that will sit well in the back.' We built the song up from that ... It was really just a case of finding a good title. We came up with this thunder thing and it seemed to have a good ring to it. AC/DC=Power. That's the basic idea.
